Rebel Talk

The last few years, the trend has been super tight fitting clothing. We've seen tight fitting custom suits and even short jackets.

Recently, the super tight, James Bond fit is stepping aside to make room for a more casual and relaxed look and feel as we start to see oversized silhouettes that are more relaxed. Some brands like Balenciaga and Gucci showed off this updated fit during their recent SS 2023 shows.

While this fit may not be for everybody, this trend is making people rethink an uber tight fit.

Jackets are also slightly longer (by just one or two centimeters) and the same goes for pants. Pleats are also coming back which brings comfort and a looser look and feel while still looking elegant.

The short-pants or “London-look”, where you see an inch of sock, is being replaced by longer pants. This growing pant style is often seen with a higher rise and even with a slight flair at the bottom of the pant.

All these small details make a big difference to the overall look and style of an outfit.

While men’s fashion trends do not change as quickly as women’s fashion, you’ll start to see these details in future collections across all brands.

If you're ready to update your wardrobe with a custom oversized piece, make an appointment to make your vision possible.
